Dawn Whitelaw

Franklin, Tennessee

Returning to Olmsted Plein Air Invitational in 2016; Ms. Whitelaw is Plein Air Richmond winner of two awards in 2014; and Door County Plein Air Festival, Second Place, 2014. In 2011, Ms. Whitelaw participated in the “Backgrounds in the Forefront“ exhibit at the Guenzel Gallery;  and her painting was accepted into the permanent collection of the Rahr-West Art Museum.  She was one of ten American women artists invited to exhibit in 2010 “Inspiring Figures” at the Butler Institute of American Art. 

Affiliations

American Impressionists Society; Portrait Society of America; Cumberland Society of Painters, Plein Air Painters of the Southeast; and The Chestnut Group. She is on the faculty of the Portrait Society of America; the Peninsula School of Art; and the Plein Air Conventions in Nevada and California.
