Margaret Dyer returns to the OPAI in 2016 as reigning winner of the Olmsted Plein Air Invitational Paint Quick First Place in 2015.  In 2014 her awards included Pastel Society of North Florida First Place; Connecticut Pastel Society Renaissance in Pastel’s Salter Award for Innovation; Stone Mountain Plein Air Event First Place Atlanta; Southeastern Pastel Society International Exhibition Best of Show Atlanta; Women Painters of the Southeast Outstanding Figurative Award Greensboro, GA: Artists Magazine 31st Annual Competition Landscapes/Interior Finalist and Animal/Wildlife Finalist.

In 2013 Ms. Dyer was named in the International Association of Pastel Societies Online Exhibition as Best of Show;  Degas Pastel Society Exhibition in Laurel MS Award of Exceptional Merit;  College Park Plein Air Exhibition First Place College Park, GA;  Artists Magazine 30th Annual Competition Landscapes/Interior Finalist and Animal/Wildlife Finalist.

 In 2012, National League of American Pen Women, Atlanta Chapter Honorable Mention, and in 2011 International Association of Pastel Societies Web Exhibition Honorable Mention; Artist’s Magazine 28th Annual Art Competition  Portraits/Figures Honorable Mention; Southeastern Pastel Society, Gainesville, GA Best of Show; and International Society of Pastel Societies Poster Competition  Finalist. In addition, in previoud years many Best of Show Awards and People’s Choice Awards.

Affiliations

A Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America, Masters Circle in the International Association of Pastel Societies and American Impressionist Society Award Winner.
