In 2017 Suzie Baker was awarded the Directors Choice Award at Laguna Beach Plein Air Invitational; First Place at Telluride Plein Air; First Place and Second Place Overall at Sedona Art Prize;  Third Place at Shadows on the Teche Plein Air;  Third Place in the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society On-Line International and the Collection Magazine Award at Art Renewal Center International Salon. Ms. Baker also found time to appear at Maui Plein Air; Shadows on the Teche Plein Air; Olmsted Plein Air Invitational; Easton Plein Air; Door County Plein Air; and Laguna Beach Plein Air Invitational.

Suzie appeared in 2017 Shows including OPA National Exhibition; OPA Western Regional; AIS National Exhibition; AWA National Exhibition; NOAPS Best of America Exhibition; Portrait Society of America, Members only Show and Art Renewal Center International Salon.

Ms. Baker is a Board Member and Signature Member of Oil Painters of America; a Signature Member of American Impressionist Society, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, Outdoor Painters Society and American Women Artists, as well as Member of Portrait Society of America.
