Stephanie Amato

In 2018 Stephanie Amato was awarded the Rosemary Brushes Award in the The Salmagundi Club’s “Small Works Exhibition”, Third Place at Cashiers Plein Air Invitational,  and the Award of Excellence from the Atlanta Artist Center’s “Back to the Drawing Board”. The previous year, 2017 she received Second Place at the Salmagundi Club’s annual Nautical Exhibition,  Spring Auction and Thumb Box Exhibition, Honorable Mention Atlanta Artist Center, as well as People’s Choice at En Plein Air Texas.

Stephanie was a juror and panelist for the 2018 American Impressionist Small Works Exhibition, Juror and Judge at the 2018 Roswell Fine Arts Alliance exhibition “People, Places & Things”, and Georgia Art League’s 2017 Winter Exhibition.  She participated in many national exhibitions including the American Impressionist Society 19th Annual Exhibition, The Salmagundi Fall Auction and the Portrait Society of Atlanta’s Annual Juried Exhibit.

 Professional Affiliations 
Ms. Amato is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and the Pastel Society of New Jersey; a Resident Member of the Salmagundi Art Club,  Oil Painters of America, Portrait Society of Atlanta and former President of  The New Jersey Society of En Plein Air Painters.  She is also been a faculty member of the Quinlan Art Center, Booth Western Museum and SMA Designs Art Studio.

In 2018 Stephanie Amato was a featured artist in the August issue of Plein Air Magazine;  September & October “Plein Air Today;” November “Artists on Art”; November‘s Featured Artist “Fine Art Today”; and the October & November issues of  American Art Collector Magazine.
