Patrick Saunders has received awards from the Laguna Plein Air Painting Invitational, Plein Air Easton, Plein Air Richmond (Best In Show), the Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational, Plein Air Texas, the Oil Painters of America, Sedona Plein Air (Best In Show), the Lighthouse Plein Air Festival, the Gateway International Painting Competition (Best In Show), the Outdoor Painters Society, the Eureka Springs Plein Air Festival, the Airstream Fine Art Invitational, Buck’s County Plein Air, and the Sedona Art Prize.

His work has been recently featured in multiple exhibitions, including the Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibition, the American Impressionist Society’s National Juried Exhibition, the Laguna Plein Air Painters Best of Plein Air and Signature Impressions shows, the Outdoor Painters Society’s Plein Air Southwest Salon, the Airstream Fine Art Invitational and the Richeson School of Art’s Figure and Portrait Exhibition.

Patrick travels throughout North America in an Airstream with his photographer wife, Kimberly. He is a highly sought after instructor and judge, teaching sold out workshops throughout the country.
