Jill McGannon

Jill Schultz McGannon received her BFA and MFA from the University of Georgia in 1985 and 1988, and has worked as a full-time artist for 35 years. Her plein air and large scale studio paintings can be seen at Reinert Fine Art in Charleston, SC, Four Corners Gallery in Bluffton, SC, High Country Art in Blue Ridge, GA, and Addington Gallery in Chicago, IL. She paints in oils in a painterly realistic style, preferring to work from life whenever possible. She started painting plein air in Italy in 1995, and continued painting plein air in coastal SC and GA upon returning home.
Awards
Jill has won first place at four plein air events in the last two years, and was accepted into five NOAPS (National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society) and OPA (Oil Painters of America) shows in the last two years. She has won three awards in the Plein Air magazine Salon in the last three years.
