Anthony Watkins is 2016 winner of both the Quick Paint Competition and the Third Place Winner overall at the Bath County Plein Air Festival; and was an invited artist to 2016 Plein Air Easton; 2016 and 2015 Castine Plein Air; and 2016 Ocean Park Plein Air.  Paintings by Mr. Watkins are in numerous corporate and private collections. His painting of Eagle Rock Mountain was selected to represent Rocky Mountain National Park in the book, Art of the Parks, by Rachel Rubin Wolf.

Mr. Watkins’ portrait clients have included the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia, the director of the American Red Cross and the American Ambassador to Sweden,  and his work has been exhibited by the National Wildlife Federation, American Society of Classical Realism, Oil Painters of America National Exhibition, and Arts for the Parks National Exhibition.
