Thomas Jefferson Kitts will return to Olmsted Plein Air Invitational in 2017. In 2016, Thomas Kitts was awarded Best of Show and Museum Acquisition by Pacific Northwest Plein Air, Artist Choice in the Laguna Beach Plein Air Invitational, Best of Show at the Carmel Festival, Best International Artist at Curacao Plein Air and Best New Artist at Plein Air Easton.

His work appears in Maryhill Museum of Art, WA; Laguna Art Museum Laguna CA; Maritime Museum of Willemstad Curacao; Curacao Maritime Museum Caribbean; Academy Museum of Art, Easton MD and Cherokee Town and Country Club Atlanta, GA
