Mr. Lasater has been published in Plein Air Magazine Oct/Nov 2014, Southwest Art Magazine Oct 2014, International Artist Magazine Oct/Nov 2014, OutdoorPainter.com 2014. John participated in the Artists Helping Artists Podcast in August 2014 and recorded an interview with the John Pototschnik blog in May 2014.
Mr. Lasater founded a tour to foster art appreciation in underserved areas called 24 Paintings in 24 Hours, showcasing his stamina to plein air paint for a full 24 hours. There have been three events to date, in Arkansas, Washington and Missouri.
