Prior studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and won the Best in Show Award at the prestigious 2013 Laguna Plein Air Painting Invitational. Scott a signature artist member of the California Art Club, the Portrait Society of America, and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. He has been awarded and recognized by the Oil Painters of America and the Society of Illustration Los Angeles.
