In 2017 Jonathan McPhillips was invited to the American Impressionist Society 18th National Juried Exhibition, Park City, UT; Maritime Gallery 38th Juried International Marine Art Exhibition, Mystic, CT; Modern Marine Masters Exhibition, Mystic, CT; Laguna Plein Air Painters "August Nights" and “Best of Plein Air” Juried Exhibitions; Art League of Rhode Island "Boats, Surf, Beaches" Juried Exhibition where he won an Award of Merit. In addition Mr. McPhillips participated in the "All Hands on Deck" Group Invitational Exhibition in Newport, RI as well as a One Man Show, Addison Art Gallery, Cape Cod, MA.

Affiliations
Jonathan is a member of the Salmagundi Club in New York City; the American Impressionist Society "Signature Member" status, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and the Art League of Rhode Island.
