Nikolay Mikushkin has thirty+ years of plein air experience, drawing upon his classical training from Russia. In 2017, Mr. Mikushkin participated in Adirondack Plein Air Festival. In 2016 he won Best New Artist and Vanishing Landscape Awards at Plein Air Easton; Best in Show in Seneca Lake Plein Air Festival; and participated in Mountain Maryland Plein Air Festival and Paint Annapolis.

Professional Affiliations
Mr. Mukushikin is an Associate Member of Oil Painters of America; a Member of New York plein Air Painters/NYPAP; and a Member of United Scenic Artists, producing work for motion pictures commercials and television.
