Jonathan McPhillips is returning to his third Olmsted Plein Air Invitational. His recent accomplishments include the "Best Sense of Mystery" Award, 2015  Olmsted Plein Air Invitational; 2015 Museum Purchase Award, The Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport, International Exhibition; 2015 Boldbrush Award, Fine Art Studios Online competition; The American Impressionist Society National juried exhibitions 2016, 2014, and 2013.

Additionally, Mr. McPhillips was awarded 2012 First Place award at the Salmagundi Club; is represented by the U.S. Department of State in the “Art in Embassies” program around the globe, as well as senatorial offices in Washington DC, and providence, RI.

Mr. McPhillips is a member of the Salamagundi Club and the American Impressionists Society.
