Andre Lucero returns to the Olmsted Plein Air invitational in 2017. In 2016 the Virginia plein air artist participated in the American Impressionist Society Annual Show; Door County Plein Air Festival; Plein Air Easton; Olmsted Plein Air Invitational; Door County Plein Air Festival, En Plein Air Texas. He painted in Finger Lakes Plein Air Festival, Lighthouse Plein Air Festival, Plein Air Richmond 2016 and Plein Air Easton 2016 and 2015.

Mr. Lucero was awarded First Place at the 2016 Bath County Plein Air Festival Quick Draw; Best in Show at Boothbay Harbor Plein Air Invitational as well as participating in the Where in the World is Plein Air Invitational Show; a Plein Air Painters of the South East juried group show; a Paint North Carolina Plein Air juried show; solo shows at the Cabell Gallery and Art’s Sake Gallery; and two-man Shows at Coco Vivo Fine Art and JM Stringer Gallery.
