Jill Schultz McGannon received her BFA from the University of Georgia, USA in 1985 and her MFA from UGA in 1988. She has worked as an artist for 35 years, initially supplementing painting sales with commissions, teaching, and mural painting. Currently, she paints full time for galleries. Her work can be seen at Four Corners Gallery in Bluffton, SC, High Country Art in Blue Ridge, GA, and Addington Gallery in Chicago, IL. She paints in water mixable oils in a painterly realistic style, preferring to work from life whenever possible. She started painting plein air in Italy in 1995, and continued painting plein air in coastal SC and GA upon returning home.
