Palette Passes are $75 and includes all demos, lectures, presentations and book signings during the week of the Invitational (six+) at the Olmsted Plein Air Invitational Headquarters at 721 Miami Circle.

Palette Pass holders will also receive a discount at the Artists & Collectors Soiree on Saturday, April 23rd. Cocktails, delectable hors d’oeuvres and desserts with an artful flair, live jazz music and Olmsted Plein Air Invitational award winner artists announced at the Artists & Collectors Soiree. TUESDAY, April 19

11:00 AM - John Eiseman, “The Nature of Art”
Discussion and “walk” through the present exhibit - highlighting the various artists, their methods and materials, the “voices” of the artists as told by an artist. A fun discussion of comparing and contrasting a variety of pictorial expressions about the land and it’s people, the regional plein air movement as it relates to today - and yesterday…basically a fun talk, a tour of the exhibit and it’s artists.

THURSDAY, April 21

11:00 AM - Crista Pisano & Cynthia Rosen, 2022 Olmsted Plein Air Artist | ‘The difference size makes” | This dynamic duo will present and demo. If the painting/s do not get completed during this two our timeframe, the completed paintings can be viewed and purchased at the Awards and Competition Event

FRIDAY, April 22

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Dmitri Wright: Artist and 2022 Olmsted Judge | A Painter’s Perspective on Beauty within the Principles and Methodology of Impressionism for our Contemporary Times | Presenting the foundational principles of Impressionism, rooted in the Academy as transformed by the Impressionists and those beyond from his writings on the Art of Creativity; and offer examples from his work in applying one’s personal perception, temperament, and aesthetical beauty for more expressive freedom in the process of abstraction from representation of one’s chosen subject.
