“I wait, and I wait, and I wait. And then it comes. The meaning, the salt of my life – the savory. I don’t quite know what it is, except that it has to do with my raison d’être. Something in this non-physical world is giving the essence to deal with the physical world. I am searching for the meaning that needs to come – an understanding of the universe, a lucidity of eternity, the gift to be silent.

We receive in silence, but then we need the words to take what we received to others : epiphany, eternity, infinity, faith, hope, love – catching the “big fish”.

For me, it’s the brushstrokes that lead me closer to the greater mysteries of compassion, healing and hope and are my language for communicating.

“I paint “en plein air devant le motif” (outdoor painting on the site) in order to listen to nature and use my eyes to see, engaging my senses to perceive the parallel between nature and eternity.”
